Marin Bookkeepers Referral Network

 Marin Bookkeepers Referral Network is an organization of over 100 independent bookkeepers and financial services affiliates.  We have been serving Marin and the greater Bay Area counties since 1987.

 Our purpose is to promote bookkeeping referrals and continuing education for our members. We also provide a forum for networking and discussion of issues specific to bookkeeping and practice management.

 This is accomplished through:

•  Monthly meetings that include a speaker or round table discussion on bookkeeping issues and other topics related to accounting, software and practice management.
•  Advertising for new referral work for members in trade publications and the yellow pages.
•  Education and training support through dissemination of information on classes and seminars in the local area and web based training. 
•  Networking via meetings and a group Yahoo site.
•  Maintaining reference materials on educational opportunities and accounting software programs.
•  Mentoring support provided by Morre & Company, LLP, Certified Public Accountants.

Our network bookkeepers are almost always employed as independent contractors.  They have multiple clients in their practice and typically do not have the hours available to work full time for any one client.
